Client satisfaction and achieving the best results is paramount to me. A proactive mindset, a breadth and depth of sales and marketing experience, an eye for detail and a passion for our industry. Motivated and energetic especially, when pitching or presenting, with experience in writing creative briefs and providing leadership.
Alan C Drummond started out as a scruffy graphic designer who liked his cool tees and jeans. Progressing and developing his creative process, he was still thirsty for more information and insight to find what a client truly needed. With a natural curiosity to dig deeper crossing over to the ‘dark side’ of client services and swapping his tees for a suit was the next logical move. Intense passion and an entrepreneurial spirit Alan has been building trusted relationships, networking and delivering campaigns with results, working through the client services ranks and taking up managerial positions.
HUSBAND & FATHER
Leaving his homeland in search of new opportunities Alan found himself in Kuwait for three years, Dubai for ten years, Oman for six months then back to Dubai again. He met his wife to be at the Dubai Rugby 7’s, in 2003 they married in Scotland and over the next few years travelled whenever they could. They now live in the US with their two children and dog, Patch. Alan now serves as a full time taxi driver for his son’s baseball habit – a sport he still doesn’t understand, and wishes his son would play Rugby instead.
Born, raised and educated in Scotland. Thanks to his grandfather who was an artist, from a young age Alan had a love for art, Renaissance, Impressionism but especially Pop Art. Influenced by artist such as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and David Hockney, after buying “The Graphic Language of Neville Brodie” Alan knew wanted to work in advertising. Still painting whenever the opportunity arises he is still influenced by the Pop Art genre and what he learned as a graphic designer.
Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts

At Bluehaus Group, we appointed Alan Drummond and Twelve97 when they were starting-out and they exceeded our expectations on delivery from both quality and speed. We worked with them for 3 years and followed Alan from Twelve97 when he moved to Octopus. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Alan, and enjoyed the commitment and energy that Alan brought to our organisation and the deliverable. A man of principals, integrity, good humour and hard work, I can strongly recommend Alan.
Never set limits, go after your dreams, don’t be afraid to push the boundaries. And laugh a lot – it’s good for you!
"Creativity is a great motivator because it makes people interested in what they are doing. Creativity gives hope that there can be a worthwhile idea. Creativity gives the possibility of some sort of achievement to everyone. Creativity makes life more fun and more interesting". Edward de Bono.
