Adman & The Who, are two acrylic paintings by graphic artist Alan C Drummond. Adman was inspired from the Madmen television series title sequence. I liked the style and imagery that it created, I tried this in various color palettes however I found the bright green to be a nice bold statement. The Who concept was from a Tee shirt I bought, (it was worn until it fell apart). I had also been going through a little bit of a MOD revival at the time, or a mid-life crisis… I was listening to Quadrophenia and was thinking about buying a Lambretta!
