Getting close to Marilyn

‘Getting close to Marilyn’ is a graphically inspired painting of Marilyn Monroe.  I have always been a fan of Pop-Art, and it’s influence is what made me study graphic design at college. So with that in mind I set about painting her truly iconic image using bright acrylics and minimized the amount of colors.
